Alyssa Foster is a senior analyst in Callan’s Published Research Group. She is responsible for data analysis and visualization to support Callan’s research endeavors.
Prior to joining Callan in September 2023, Alyssa worked at New York University’s Stern School of Business as a research assistant in the marketing department. She was also a graduate teaching assistant in the university’s College of Arts and Sciences.
Alyssa has volunteered in initiatives promoting mental health and diversity. She has experience helping people of color access educational resources as a peer advocate by guiding students through financial aid, study abroad programs, and scholarships. Alyssa is passionate about mental health and accessibility to education for communities of color, and she’s committed to ongoing volunteer work.
Alyssa earned an MA in cognitive science and consumer psychology from New York University and a BA in psychology from the University of California, Berkeley. She is skilled in Python, R, Tableau, JMP, SPSS, SQL, and other programming languages and technology.
