Alina is a member of Callan's Product Development team.
Alina Vartanyan-Stanley, CFA, is a vice president in Callan’s Product Development team. She helps to define needs and priorities for user interfaces and new product development along with other members of the team. She works with both Callan systems users and the Callan programming staff to develop, test, and train on various new analytical capabilities and features, as well as resolve software problems. She also assists with innovative user interface designs, testing and training for CallanDNA. Alina is a shareholder of the firm.
Alina joined Callan in 2008. Prior to joining the Product Development team, she was in a hybrid project manager role, serving as a liaison for operations and projects. She also served as an associate consultant in the Fund Sponsor Consulting group, providing support to a variety of clients with strategic planning and implementation, investment manager monitoring and reviews, performance evaluation, business development, and continuing education. She started as a performance analyst in Callan’s Client Report Services group, where she was responsible for a number of Callan’s larger and complicated client relationships.
Alina received a BA in finance and a BA in international business from the University of San Francisco. She is a holder of the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation, and is a member of CFA Institute and CFA Society Portland. She is also a member of Portland Women in Investment Management (PWIM) and volunteers regularly at her child’s school in Portland.
