Barb is the director of the Callan Institute.
Barb Gerraty is a senior vice president and the director of the Callan Institute. She is responsible for fulfilling the Callan Institute’s mission to improve the best practices of the institutional investment community through research, education, and dialogue. Additionally, Barb facilitates and oversees all aspects of the Callan Institute’s conferences, workshops, and webinars throughout the U.S. She is the liaison between Callan and the Institute’s 400+ clients in organizing these events. In addition, Barb is the chair of the Callan Institute Advisory Committee and is a shareholder of the firm.
Prior to working at Callan, Barb worked as a senior event planner for 10+ years at White Orchid Events as well as a private consultant for various event planning companies in the Bay Area and Sonoma County. She also has an extensive background in finance and has worked throughout her career in the finance industry both as a research analyst and as a business strategist and systems adviser for small businesses.
Barb earned her BA in economics with a minor in mathematics at the University of California, Santa Barbara.
