Kevin brings over two decades of industry and investment consulting experience.
Kevin Schmidt is a senior vice president and investment consultant in Callan’s New Jersey consulting office. Kevin works with a variety of clients, including corporate and public defined benefit plans, corporate defined contribution plans, and endowments and foundations, to develop, implement, and monitor their plan specific objectives. Kevin is a member of Callan’s Alternatives Review Committee, Nonprofit Group, and Public Defined Benefit Focus Group.
Prior to joining Callan in 2023, Kevin worked at RVK as an investment consultant, where he was responsible for a broad range of consulting disciplines, including investment policy, governance, asset allocation, asset class structure, performance evaluation and attribution, investment manager searches, and client education. Prior to RVK, he spent 15 years working as an analyst and client portfolio manager at asset management firms that include OppenheimerFunds, Invesco, and UBS.
Outside of Callan, Kevin is a trustee and co-chair of the endowment at The Pingry School, sits on an investment committee at a local nonprofit learning institute for children with autism, and is a mentor in the Gabelli School of Business Mentoring Program at Fordham University.
Kevin earned an MBA from Fordham University and a BS in economics from the University of Maryland, where he was a member of the Division 1 men’s soccer team.
